Many of you have seen our Contineo BMC cage for the Black magic Cinema Camera but you may not have noticed a subtle feature of our 15mm lightweight support. We have chosen to take a radically new design path and part ways with the classical cantilever clamp design of the past.  Our new MultiForce™ clamp design eliminates side mounted levers and any possibility of stripping threads when tightening down on 15mm rods.  Through the use of clever geometry we have been able to design a system that clamps both rods at the same time using one Kipp handle while producing three times more clamping force on the rods than a conventional clamp design can produce. This means that you can tighten both rods down using 1/3 of the force while turning the clamp lever only 90 degrees, resulting in extremely fast changeovers.

We had an opportunity to visit BMD and snap some photos of the Contineo BMC cage with the camera. Looks like everything fit perfectly as expected so shipping will commence shortly.

We got the first batch of parts with our awesome gray color scheme. The weight of the entire cage came in under a pound. 15mm brackets will be in hand on Monday.

We have first units off of the production fixtures. The cages should be shipping next week as scheduled. We have a
few units going out to some notable individuals for testing and expect to  have anodized units this week. If you would like to place an order you can do so here.
