I have tried calling you but it always goes to voicemail .
What are you doing about the people with the old unit that only half works? Are you planning on sorting them out first? I know it been a struggle for you guys but three years has been a hell of a long wait
Any details would be great.

Nic,
You will love the new system. It is getting closer. We don't want to ship something half done. The firmware is the biggest hurdle we have left. There are a few tweaks to the design, mostly internal and a couple external to make it a bit easier to machine and handle day to day use. It is very comfortable to hold as well as look at

Hi Curt, John and everyone at VF,
Happy to hear things are moving along on this front, after all this time. Are you in contact with Red ? Any chance we will see compatibility of your motors and controller with the Meizler Module ? But more importantly, you mention real world testing in July, please keep us updated (more frequently) as things move along.
Cheers,
Damien

Aren't the motors using a standard protocol? I plan on using the motors with the Meizler Module too. Hope it works!

The motors follow standard 7-Pin standards so it will work with pretty much anything. We will update s there is notable info... this week I'm cranking on the VFD graphics. We are spending a lot of time making sure that this is a solid product from the ground up.

Hey John & Curt, a practical design thought . The angular design of the controller seems fine but can the actual focus knob remain a cylinder ? It is a standard becaus it is the best shape for finely tuning focus. It's what focus pullers are comfortable with. Look forward to receiving new FF.

Frank,
The knob is removable. We will be offering other knob options..adjustable stops and more. Thanks for the input. Better now than in the final design.

I`m considering RT Motion`s system - where`s your system price wise?

Pricing for the new system has not been established. We expect it to be higher than the previous design but still significantly less than some of our competition.

Yes, I would love to know when the new system is going to be released. Kinda tired of having a non-working system sitting on my shelf for 3 years now.
